The War Begins

2267, April 6th: Scion Empire & Amalgamate Republic forces made first contact at the Hydroponics Farm-02 in the Shinar Desert, they also seized the Northern Research Center. Both sides suffered light losses in the skirmish. An important engineer was evacuated from Farm-02 by the AR. Later that day, SE forces seized Hydroponics Farm-01 and repelled an attack from AR quick reaction forces.
