Rising From the Ashes

2267, August 14th: 1 week after the nuclear blast in Scion Prime, the fallout begins to settle. CBRN units are tasked with scrubbing ground zero and surrounding areas in the Economic District. Exposure to dangerous levels of radiation has drastically increased cases of Cancer in the Economic District. Military personnel, first responders, workers, and civilians are all dealing with lasting effects from exposure, many dying within weeks from organ failure. Efforts to clean the city has seen swathes of civilians from around Scion Prime volunteering into the Worker's Force to help clean up the city. The death toll steadily continues to rise, but the people of Scion Prime also rise from the ashes in unity.
