2267, August 25th: The 1st Air Cavalry Division continues to re-consolidate control of Artemis, pushing out remnants of Scion Empire forces from strategic areas. Townships such as Colony Arthur and research centers in the Shinar Desert, the first sites of conflict in the war, are now once again under control of the Amalgamate Republic: Colonel Amelia Hawke becomes renowned amongst the 5th Mobile Corps on Artemis, for her effective leadership of the 1st Air Cavalry Division. Under her command, the AR has made significant gains and won numerous battles against the SE.
