2267, August 3rd: News reaches the AR ground invasion force that the 5th Fleet (reinforced with elements of the 1st & 3rd fleet) have lost the battle in orbit over Scion Delta against the 2nd Imperial Armada. The fleet has withdrawn from the sector due to news of the 3rd Imperial Armada over Savannah combined with the fact they have sustained heavy losses. After a month of guerilla warfare being waged around Scion Delta, followed by the recent invasion of Northom, AR high command is confident that their remaining troops on Scion Delta can holdout until reinforcements arrive. Until then, they're surrounded by their enemy and must utilize asymmetric warfare if they wish to stand a chance, especially in light of the massive wave of SE reinforcements that are beginning to touch down on Scion Delta.
