Reclamation of Savannah

2267, August 3rd: SE Grand Admiral Kuichi Bushida launches the reclamation of Savannah, one of the first planets contested at the start of the conflict, but later victoriously liberated by the AR. The Third Scion Legion (approx. 500,000 soldiers), which includes units like the 10th Scion Guard Expeditionary Unit and the 13th ISC, spearheads the attack with the expressed goal of recapturing the planet and eliminating all AR presence - Part of Bushida's strategy is to aim for the head of the snake, there for the first objective set for the Savannah Campaign is to eliminate the AR's planetary command & control apparatus via orbital strikes, followed by the systematic dismantling of AR presence on the planet by the ground reclamation force.
