Operation Jungle Blitz

2267, August 12th: After losing control of Artemis nearly four months ago, Amalgamate Republic Militia forces that remained on the planet went deep into its jungles, far from the reach of the Scion Empire who dwelled safely behind the walls of the colonies. As natives of this deadly world, the militia knew the lay of the land. They hid far within the tropical forests, in vast cave networks, regrouping, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. At the behest of their commanding officer, Lieutenant General John Rogers, the 5th Mobile Corps commenced Operation Jungle Blitz. Using lighting warfare, they quickly overwhelmed critical Scion Empire sites such as logistics stations, docking stations, and outposts.
