Mars PAX Drill 2267

2267, August 26th: The 1st Commando Battalion, a.k.a the "Big Red One", spearheads "Martian PAX Drill 2267" recently ordered by Governor Bolton Ryce. The aim of the drill is to prepare the MDF for potential conflict as the AR resurgence on Artemis and the invasion of Vone leaves the Sol System more vulnerable. The majority of Martian Commando experience stems from counter-terrorism operations at home and abroad as their foremost task is the security of Mars from criminals, terrorists, pirates, and marauders. However, with these drills the MDF are training in combined arms operations with elements of the ground, air, and space MDF forces in preparation for more conventional warfare.
