Losing Ground

2267, July23rd: AR forces capture nearly all of Northom as they begin to push out the last remaining holdouts of SE resistance in the city. Continued guerrilla attacks by local rebels make it impossible for the SE to resupply their forces in Northam by ground or air, effectively cutting them off. The 2nd Imperial Armada exists FTL and is immediately engaged by the 5th, 3rd, and 1st AR Fleets, while the 3rd Imperial Armada proceeds directly to the AR Capital world of Denov. A battlecruiser task force of the 2nd IA has been assigned with breaching the lines of the Republic navy to drop reinforcements from orbit.
