Loose Ends

2267, August 31st: After hearing news that Dorgan Gunn was wanted for treason and last seen on Joss, a longtime friend of his, a Jossian and member of the NPP forms search parties to attempt to locate Gunn. After several hours, they find him, fatigued and passed out by a nearby bio-farm. They rendered medical aid to Gunn, before loading him up in their vic and returning to New Petersburg, one of the many but small colonial townships scattered around Joss. Back at the NPP HQ, Chief Officer of the party's provincial committee, Lysander Bruckstein, receives word that Dorgan Gunn has woken up, but that's he's uncontrollable. As Bruckstein enters the room, he witnesses an exhausted Dorgan Gunn struggling against three NPP members, trying to keep him down on the bed. Bruckstein orders a nurse to administer a sedative. As Gunn begins to relax, Bruckstein props himself nearby with a chair and inspects Gunn, who stares back at him. Bruckstein a grizzled man in his fifties and veteran of the Earth Colonies Civil War, says to Gunn, "What did they do to you Gunn..." Gunn's clone confused and terrified by the flooding memories struggles to understand his situation, he doesn't know where he is, or how he got there; A haunting feeling sets in that he doesn't even know who or what he is. As he begins to reply, it's as if it was the first time he ever spoke. He knew the words and their meaning in his mind, but the speech and muscle movements were foreign. "I-I don't know... I-I can't remember much..." Suddenly, Prime Minister Taron Gerard enters into his mind, a puzzle piece of vague memories lead him to a fit of rage, Gunn starts screaming, "Where is Gerard!?" as he thrashes around, then he yells "I'm going to kill that son of a bitch!"
