Hope Colony Liberated

2267, August 14th: Back where it all began, on Hope Colony bordering the Shinar Desert of Artemis, the AR's 5th Mobile Corps launches an assault on the city. The poorly trained conscripts stand no chance against the veterans of the AR's long war against the Scion Empire. The battle-hardened guerilla fighters quickly storm the perimeter destroying over 90% of the 17th Conscript Division. Even with the aid of sophisticated turret defense systems, they were unable to holdout against the onslaught. After security Hope Colony, the AR raised their banner high as it once did in Hope Colony, and declare the city liberated from the hands of the Scion Empire.
