2267, April 5th: The 10th Scion Guard Expeditionary Unit invades Artemis - The S.E.S "Victory" is stationed high above the Shinar Desert as ground forces establish FOB Sigma. Amalgamate Republic Command activates "Athena" a newly developed battlefield command AI to assist Militia forces of the 103rd Regiment of Militia stationed on Artemis. Analysts across the galaxy suggest a conflict between the Scion Empire and Amalgamate Republic could erupt at any moment as AR forces ignore demands to surrender and relinquish their arms.
