2267, August 20th: By day, Katari Clan forces successfully overwhelm SE forces across Vone. Many wonder why they have been taken captive and where they will be taken. The communication barrier of two different species leaves the captives in speculation. The occasional groan of a Katari Clan warrior can be heard, of apparent disgust, when a captive Scion walks by. As the planetary garrison fails to the alien onslaught, the seizure of Firstborn artifacts was inevitable. As soon as the Katari Clan discovered the IDI Alpha Research Base on Vone, some of the SE's most valuable pieces of Firstborn technology were taken along with the scientists and researchers assigned to Alpha Research Base.
