2267, May 20th: A small strike team of some of the AR's best paratroopers & divers were directed to breach Omega Base on Ritov and destroy it's power conduit. Several SE assets were destroyed in the assault, including 2 submarines & 2 research vessels at the Naval Yard (resulting int he deaths of some 140 crew personnel); However the power conduit remained in tact. After failing to the destroy the power conduit at Omega Base, the 5th fleet was forced to land on Ritov under bombardment; 2 transport ships & 1 frigate were destroyed while in descent towards Ritov, killing some 146 Combat personnel & 267 ship personnel. Now that the crippled 5th fleet has landed, the SE will prepare to repel the invading force from their frozen world.
