No Rule Skirting/Rule Playing/Rule Testing , if you are found trying to break rules or testing how much you can get away with only to start a debate about whether it's technically a rule or not, you will be banned from the RP according to Nightwolf. No side switching . You may not switch from Blufor/Opfor/Inde with gear or without. Once you commit to a faction you must officially resign by selling all of your gear first from that faction and notifying an admin, and then joining civies, before you can join another faction. | No attacking faction spawn zones (Does not apply to civies since they do not have a dedicated spawn zone) . You are free to attack each other anywhere else. You may not fire into a spawn zone or be within 100m of another faction's spawn zone. In other words, don't spawn camp the enemy. If you are a civie you may enter the spawn zone of a faction only on official business or face RP consequences for trespassing. No wearing armor/equipment of another faction. All factions must wear their approved shop gear. Pretty straightforward. The exception to this rule is if you're a civie, then you can wear whatever you want. However, you may be labeled as a terrorist/blood hand/criminal for wearing armor as a civie and may be subject to arrest, incapacitation, or annihilation by local forces. No Attacking/Killing NPC's & Shop Vendors . Instant ban for breaking this rule. Respect the chain of command. In any faction except for civies, rank/player experience is always to be respected. The higher the rank, the more that person supersedes authority. However, admins/zeus's always have the highest authority. in the case of Opfor (Scion Empire) their highest authority is always the Governor Conflict & Skirmishes. Skirmishes throughout the map are permissible so long as they are not in the Sector Control zones. When Conflict is declared by admins, the Sector's will become contested, and any side can fight for it. When Conflict is declared over, the factions who still retain the Sectors will be rewarded with money and XP for each player still on the server by the time Conflict ends. Then, until Conflict is declared again, those Sectors remain under control of the faction who won it. No faction may enter those Sectors until Conflict is declared again. You may not shoot into a Sector until Conflict starts, Sectors owned by a faction are considered SAFE ZONES, so DO NOT, break this rule if you belong to a faction. If you are a civie and a criminal or terrorist, ignore this rule, it does not apply to you. Logging out. You may only logout in a safe zone or spawn zone belonging to your faction. Civies can logout in any safe zone controlled by any faction. If you logout while in combat, while being detained, or given a punishment by admins or local government, you will most likely get banned. RP and Random Killing. RP is expected on this server, if you do not RP and random kill without legitimate reasons to your role (such as being a terrorist for the Solar Blood Hands) then you will be banned. What do we mean by random killing? Spawning into the server and just killing everyone over and over again without respect for RP or the rules. Team Balancing : All players have a responsibility to pick factions accordingly for balance. Players may not join the AR, SE, or Mercs if %50 of the players on the server already have occupied those teams; Civilians should always equate to %50 percent of the player count. When the number of players on the server is odd, players should round to the highest number to determine how many civies there should be. I.e, 5 players on the server, there should be 3 civies. If there are 20 players on the server there should be 10 civies. If a faction has outnumbered another and locked out players from joining a faction with little to no players due to the %50 percent rule, admins may force players from the outnumbering faction to switch to civilian. In other words, balanced should be maintained. I.e if someone wants to play SE but can't because everyone has gone to AR and there are already %50 of civilians occupying the server, people from the AR need to switch to Civilian Have fun . We do not want to be too limiting with rules, improvising is allowed as long as it does not break the rules. Ultimately it is up to the players to make the RP experience a great one. If you have doubts about the rules or have questions about what you can and cannot do, it is always best to ask an Admins/Zeus. Scion Empire Laws Welcome to Scion Delta, a Scion Empire controlled world during the Scion Conflict of 2267 AD. This Imperial world is protected by the Scion Empire Army, Navy, and Air Force, against the rebel fighters of the Amalgamate Republic (Blufor) which are currently waging a relentless guerilla war on the planet. Due to the heightened wartime tensions, the laws on Scion Delta are rather strict. Colony Statute A-1: Civilian ownership of Firearms is prohibited except for those who have purchased a concealed firearm permit, which is restricted to specific firearms. Civies found violating this law will be deemed criminals and subject to state sanctions or punishments. Colony Statute A-2: Civilians with firearm permits may only open carry when they are out hunting animals or camping. Colony Statute A-3: Civilians have a duty to inform that they are carrying a concealed weapon, to all Scion Empire military and law enforcement, if they have been detained for an investigation or questioning. Failure to do so may lead to a fine. Colony Statute B-1: Deadly force is permissible if you reasonably believe a crime is in progress that may result in the serious death or injury of yourself or another. Colony Statute C-1: Civilians have a duty to inform of any illegal or rebel activity to the nearest Scion Empire military or law enforcement person(s). Failure to do so will result in jail time and a fine. Colony Statute C-2: Due to the state of war, all Civilians are expected to comply with the orders of Scion Military or Law Enforcement at all times. Colony Statute C-2: Working with or aiding terrorist actors such as the Amalgamate Republic, Solar Blood Hands, and any other criminal organization will be punishable by death. Colony Statute D1: It is illegal to buy and sell any kind of drug or illicit substance. Possession and trafficking of said substances will result in substantially large fine and jail time. Jobs Jobs really only apply to civilians and are more or less a list of things you can do, but not necessarily ALL you can do. If you see something you want to be that isn't on the list, ask the admins for permission before committing to your Job/RP role. Merchant : Buy and sell legal goods for cash Hunter : Hunt animals (can only be done with admin/zeus supervision) Taxi Driver : Drive anyone you want around in exchange for cash EMT : EMT services (must coordinate with Scion Empire military) Bounty Hunter : Hunt down criminals, rebels, and terrorists for reward. Must be dead or alive. If dead turn into Scion Empire for confirmation or ping Zeus to confirm dead body or take screenshot if no Zeus is available (Requires a firearm permit). Private Pilot : Fly anyone you want around in exchange for cash (Unarmed aircraft only) Criminal Jobs Outlaw: Break all the laws, profit your own way. Kill, rob, steal, you name it.
